Tonight's skywatching session was a success with three expected objects: Saturn, Mars and passing ISS, and two unexpected ones: Iridium flare (at -5.5, wow oh so bright), and a meteor. The latter was an especial delight, and had a bright red trail.

http://nova.astrometry.net/user_images/1208560#original has the station as the brightest dot (failed to resolve stars)

didn't take my tripod or camera with me :)
